About the Role

The M&A Healthcare team in London is seeking an Analyst to join its growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment, mastering financial analysis and research skills while becoming involved in transactions from start to finish. The Analyst will serve as the analytical anchor for their deal team, responsible for preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial modeling and analysis, interpreting results, and drawing conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting and analysing financial and commercial data to support transaction conclusions.
  • Preparation of company profiles and detailed market mapping to support deal origination and strategic analysis.
  • Contribute to drafting information memoranda and marketing materials, focusing on financial and numerical evidence.
  • Support the design and review of integrated operating models using best practices.
  • Help prepare client presentations, including credential packs and business development materials.
  • Assist in valuing public and private companies through methodologies including comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow (DCF), and leveraged buyout (LBO) modelling, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Conduct research on healthcare and pharma sectors, companies, and potential buyers.
  • Effective prompting and developing practical agentic workflows to enhance research, analysis, drafting and execution efficiency, while maintaining rigorous quality control, confidentiality and sound professional judgement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in M&A with strong deal exposure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and valuation theory.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
