About the Role
Develop and implement the IT strategy for a growing medical technology company, including cloud transformation, IT security, and vendor management. Lead ERP upgrades and system integrations, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations. Manage IT infrastructure and support teams, partnering with executive leadership on strategic decisions and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the IT strategy for a growing medical technology company
- Migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud infrastructures
- Establish an IT security strategy and NIS-2 compliance for critical infrastructure
- Manage vendors and negotiate contracts with IT service providers
- Plan budgets and investments for IT projects
- Lead ERP upgrades (Proalpha) and system integrations
- Perform Computer System Validation (CSV) for GMP-compliant medical device environments
- Administer Office 365 and modern workplace solutions
- Manage IT infrastructure (network, security, performance)
- Lead first-level support and team development
- Collaborate directly with the board on strategic IT decisions
- Coordinate cross-functionally with all departments
- Manage IT audits (financial audits, certifications, license audits)
- Oversee change management for IT transformation projects
Requirements
- Extensive IT professional experience with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, or ERP
- Strategic thinking combined with practical implementation skills
- Experience in cloud migration and modern IT architectures
- Competence in project and vendor management
- Strong communication skills for all hierarchical levels
- Hands-on mentality – willingness to take on operational tasks
- ERP experience (ideally Proalpha)
- Experience in medical technology/GMP environments and validation processes
- Knowledge of ITIL and cyber security certifications
- Expertise in Office 365 and the Microsoft Cloud
- Basic business administration knowledge for budget and contract management
- Drive for change and innovative spirit
