About the Role
This role provides relevant legal work experience to support admission as a qualified lawyer. The focus is on developing essential legal skills while contributing to matter resolution and team operations by supporting qualified lawyers with straightforward tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategy
- Produce first drafts of basic legal documents
- Organize and maintain case files to ensure they are up-to-date and accessible
- Handle basic day-to-day client communication to gather information and respond to inquiries
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling meetings and filing documents
