About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Berlin, contributing to the digital transformation by advising and supporting clients in Cyber Security, AI, and Blockchain, and implementing system and security-relevant software projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build new Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test environments for software integration and testing.
- Continuously develop test frameworks for automating test procedures.
- Conceive and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
- Integrate individual components and modules into complete radio units in close coordination with hardware and software developers.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis together with hardware and software teams.
- Define test cases, create test procedures, and evaluate test results, documenting them in close collaboration with hardware and software teams.
- Connect measuring devices such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers to test environments and automate their use.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in hardware-near software development and testing of complex systems (e.g., microcontrollers, SoCs, or RF/radio technology), ideally in a military or security-critical environment.
- Sound knowledge in mobile communications, especially data transmission, networks, and the ISO/OSI reference model.
- Experience in test automation and development of test frameworks.
- Sound experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker or Podman).
- Good programming skills in C/C++ and experience with CMake.
- Proficiency with Linux and version control systems like Git.
- Very good spoken and written German for effective communication.
