About the Role

The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for a fast-growing global organization across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. This role ensures accurate, timely payroll execution, maintains documentation, and supports the development of efficient payroll processes, including the integration of newly acquired entities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time and accurate disbursement of international payroll transactions.
  • Maintain synchronization between HR and payroll records.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate data entry of benefits, employee data, and pay changes.
  • Create and notate payroll journal entries in the general ledger.
  • Resolve payroll GL reconciliation exceptions in the ERP system.
  • Review and audit timesheets and payroll reports.
  • Manage payroll cutoffs.
  • Maintain country-specific payroll guidelines and procedures.
  • Resolve payroll department requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
  • Experience with global payroll and management of third-party international providers.
  • General Ledger experience and strong grasp of core accounting principles.
  • Understanding of internal controls and payroll laws.
  • Strong analytical and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll tools, accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and HRIS platforms.
