About the Role

We are seeking a Lead - Digital Site Merchandising to strategically shape the next phase of our rapidly growing Direct To Consumer (DTC) business. This role involves leading the optimisation and innovation of our onsite experience across all devices, to deliver a best-in-class user experience. You will leverage smart digital merchandising strategies, compelling content, and strong leadership skills to enhance the website performance and the entire user journey. Effective communication with diverse local and global stakeholders and the strategic application of the digital tools is essential to ensure comprehensive content and merchandising plans. This role offers the opportunity to translate insights into impactful growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for Digital site merchandising within designated markets and implement the global strategy.
  • Develop and execute a mid-to-long-term vision for the onsite customer experience.
  • Understand the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints and areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate effectively with Technology, Marketing, Commercial, and global counterparts.
  • Align Digital site merchandising efforts with broader marketing campaigns, commercial strategies, and global initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the technical platforms.
  • Manage the rollout and testing of new tools and features.
  • Leverage CMS functionalities effectively.
  • Analyze commercial performance, campaign effectiveness, and overall trading performance.
  • Identify areas for process refinement and implement improvements.
  • Champion a data-led culture for continuous improvement of the customer experience.
  • Leverage data to understand customer behavior across all devices.
  • Drive a cycle of continuous optimisation through testing, reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in leading digital site merchandising and optimisation within a global organisation.
  • Strong understanding of data driven merchandising and KPI ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience in web analytics.
  • Hands-on experience utilising platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA), Amplitude, or Content Square for in-depth user behavior analysis and reporting.
  • Highly proactive and adaptable work style, with the capacity to independently manage tasks, identify opportunities, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Flexible to evolving priorities.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Successfully manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines within a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Build rapport and manage expectations.
  • Highly organised and capable of effectively prioritising a diverse workload.
