About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee day-to-day QMS activities within their Country, managing all aspects of the quality management system and interacting with senior management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation, administration, and monitoring of global QMS governance and tools within the country.
- Ensure established requirements are enforced and exceptions are recorded.
- Provide suggestions for changes to respective Global Quality Leaders.
- Meet in-country resource and training needs for quality procedures.
- Maintain the in-country quality management system.
- Maintain in-country certification to ISO standards until global accreditation is achieved.
- Assure compliance with in-country governmental regulations, legal, and statutory requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and control quality processes and procedures.
- Ensure integration and effectiveness of processes across functions.
- Support auditors in internal and external audits.
- Manage the in-country non-conformance management and corrective action system.
- Implement a continuous improvement process.
- Measure and evaluate process KPIs.
- Ensure all professionals are trained on the QMS.
- Communicate and train on changes to the quality management system.
- Identify and implement Lessons Learned.
- Maintain the Country QMS iNet site.
- Report in-country Quality KPIs for deviations, audits, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
- Trend Quality KPI performance data for targeted continuous improvement.
- Monitor in-country cost to quality.
- Implement process controls and use of improvement systems.
- Ensure in-country audits are performed and participate as required.
- Ensure compliance with in-country legislation.
- Serve as the management representative for ISO certification.
- Contribute to and support the implementation of a Global Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Ensure consistency with the requirements defined within the Arcadis QMS governance structure.
- Manage QA resources to coordinate quality staff to support projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Management, Quality, or Business (preferred).
- 5-7+ years of progressive quality management or applicable experience within a multinational engineering or professional services firm.
- Previous assignments in a related industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management System-Requirements techniques relating to quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Understanding of principles, practices, techniques, and theories of quality management systems and benchmarking.
- Understanding of principles, practices, techniques, and theories of quality process auditing.
- Well-developed understanding and appreciation for organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner.
- Time management and ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
- Excellent decision-making capabilities and ability to make decisions and deal with conflicting priorities.
