About the Role

Kids & Company operates over 100 childcare centres across Canada and continues to grow. Join our team and build your career with us! We are looking for an educator who values excellence, empathy, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
  • Implement an Emergent Curriculum
  • Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
  • Maintain attendance and health and safety checks
  • Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists
  • Support children through classroom transitions
  • Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
  • Participate in team meetings and workshops

Requirements

  • Registered with the College of ECE and in good standing
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs
