About the Role

Play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile products, working closely with developers and product teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution in JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute automated regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve automation coverage and optimize test execution time.
• Participate in framework enhancements and code reviews.
• Test Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and OS versions.
• Validate UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and usability.
• Cover compatibility, installation, interruption, and network scenarios.
• Validate REST/SOAP APIs covering requests, responses, schema, and error handling.
• Test authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Automate API test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate interfaces against WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Use tools such as Axe or Lighthouse to identify accessibility gaps.
• Collaborate with designers and developers on remediation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QE / Software Testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and development teams.
• Hands-on experience in web, mobile, and API testing.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress — openness to learning is acceptable.
• Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as Appium is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines and tools such as Axe or Lighthouse is a plus.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.
