About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you will be a key part of the supply chain, collecting and analyzing product demand forecast information and relaying it to the production department. You will play a crucial role in preventing stockouts and excess inventory by maintaining appropriate stock levels. This position offers significant opportunities for career development and challenges, with the chance to deeply influence production strategies through data analysis, validation, and hypothesis testing.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate product demand.
  • Collect and analyze product demand forecasts from sales and customers.
  • Reflect demand forecasts in the core system (SAP).
  • Communicate the latest product demand forecasts to the production department, confirm raw material procurement, and translate into production plans.
  • Monitor and handle end-of-life and new products to achieve appropriate inventory levels.
  • Analyze demand forecast data and prepare/report meeting materials.
  • Promote new business by collaborating with sales and development departments to relay collected information to the production department.
  • Participate in overseas business by collaborating with sales and development departments to relay collected information to the production department and contribute to product supply.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy of demand forecasts.
  • Consider and propose operational plans for accurate demand forecasting through analysis of performance data and utilization of AI tools.
  • Generate, propose, execute, and verify the results of improvement hypotheses within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, focusing on demand forecasting, analysis, and planning within the manufacturing or trading industry.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, particularly data aggregation and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) is preferred.
  • Experience using SAP is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing AI in business operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of statistics is preferred.
  • English proficiency is preferred.
