About the Role
The Lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment within the MSc Project Planning and Management programme. The postholder will facilitate engaging, student-centred learning experiences, support student progress, and ensure that delivery aligns with the academic standards of both UHE UK and the University of Bradford.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials using interactive and student-centred approaches.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality teaching and learning materials, ensuring they are accessible via the VLE (Moodle).
- Facilitate student transition into Level 7 study, particularly supporting international and non-traditional students.
- Perform formative and summative assessment of student work, providing timely and constructive feedback that supports improvement.
- Engage in internal moderation and standardisation activities to ensure academic rigor.
- Monitor and report on student attendance and engagement, taking proactive steps to support students at risk.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, including office hours and dissertation supervision where required.
- Keep up-to-date with subject-specific research and innovative teaching practices to ensure curriculum relevance.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (e.g., MSc Project Planning and Management).
- Teaching experience in higher education.
- Experience supporting diverse student cohorts.
