About the Role

Provide full administrative support to Investment Managers, ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact and adherence to regulatory standards. Serve as a role model and mentor to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact.
  • Maintain back-office systems and client records in line with company policies.
  • Request policy information from third-party policy providers.
  • Liaise with operational teams for support on activities such as scripts, transfers, corporate actions, and static data changes.
  • Assist investment managers in preparing new business pitches and presentations.
  • Handle cash transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and monitor client account balances.
  • Process all business according to required procedures, including establishing new accounts and collating AML documentation.
  • Identify and report risks, breaches, or errors, ensuring mitigation actions and controls are in place.
  • Encourage client use of the portal and digital tools, providing guidance.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Provide training and coaching to new and existing administrators.
  • Offer day-to-day guidance and act as the primary contact for process or technical issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in the wealth management industry.
  • Experience providing direct support to Advisors/Investment Managers.
  • Experience handling transfers, corporate actions, dealing, and settlements.
  • A strong ethic of client service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use judgment and reasoning to propose solutions to problems.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
