About the Role

As DevOps Engineer #3, you will help scale the infrastructure, automation, and reliability standards for a stablecoin-native clearing bank. You will own big projects, build and operate the platform, and work across engineering, security, and product to turn infrastructure into a competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

• Shape the infrastructure, automation, and reliability standards.
• Build and operate the platform including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and incident response.
• Work across engineering, security, and product to turn infrastructure into a competitive advantage.
• Design for failure and automate processes.
• Ramp up on current infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
• Ship first big project, such as PR environment deployments or multi-region infrastructure.
• Scope and plan future infrastructure projects.
• Act as the trusted individual for platform speed, reliability, and safety.
• Write backend code or learn new tooling as needed to complete tasks.
• Address issues that block developers.

Requirements

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, EC2, EKS, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Ability to design, debug, and operate production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Strong experience with Terraform (modules, workspaces, complex architectures).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and tooling.
• Experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with metrics, logging, distributed tracing, and incident response best practices.
• Ability to make complex infra concepts intuitive for developers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to Berlin for an in-person role.
