About the Role

This is a project-centric role designed for a professional who thrives on bringing rigor to complex financial areas. You will be responsible for understanding international operations, ensuring compliance across all territories, and implementing processes to support growth. Working directly with the Finance Director, you will act as the point person for complex compliance requirements to build robust, scalable frameworks. This role will evolve to collaborate across the finance function, ensuring systems and reporting are robust and efficient. Your objective is to secure international and compliance foundations, taking ownership of specific workstreams and requirements, and implementing necessary controls and processes for global scale-up.

Responsibilities

Act as a key finance lead for international requirements, providing support to navigate cross-border operational challenges.
Take full control of all VAT-related compliance, identifying optimization areas, resolving complexities, and ensuring regulatory rigor across multiple jurisdictions.
Design, implement, and maintain higher-level financial controls and workflows, identifying and closing process gaps.
Lead diverse, high-priority finance projects, assessing compliance needs, and delivering solutions autonomously.
Provide technical expertise and project management to enable the finance function to scale with international growth.

Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a rigorous technical foundation.
Enjoy the challenge of solving complex regulatory puzzles and bringing order to data.
Thrive when given a goal and the latitude to determine the optimal path forward.
Possess acute attention to detail while maintaining a strategic view of how finance enables a fast-moving DTC business.
