About the Role
This is an opportunity to excel as a Director, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success within the Advisory division, specifically the Forensic Expert Witness team. The role requires confidence to work independently and collaborate effectively, with a background in construction disputes and expert witness services.
Responsibilities
- Participate in SOCOTEC Senior Leadership meetings
- Represent the organisation in dispute resolution proceedings and liaise with legal counsel as required
- Capable of independently securing and successfully undertaking expert witness appointments
- Ability to support and manage team members, providing mentorship, training, guidance and professional development opportunities
- Leading the management of the workload of the FEW team
- Managing project resources to achieve deliverables within budget
Requirements
- Background in construction disputes and expert witness services
- Knowledge of construction contracts, dispute resolution proceedings and construction project management
