About the Role
Ubisoft is seeking a pragmatic, product-minded Data Scientist to join the Asia Intelligence team. This role focuses on shipping data and AI solutions that make an impact, working closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to design, build, and evolve AI-powered products already in production. Success is defined by delivering shipped outcomes and seeing real players affected by your work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain machine learning models and AI products deployed in production.
- Contribute to personalization and decisioning systems influencing player retention and engagement.
- Support the development of AI agent architectures and automation workflows.
- Translate complex stakeholder needs into pragmatic, sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and product stakeholders for model integration and understanding.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an applied Data Science or ML role with a track record of shipping models or AI products into production.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes through applied ML.
- Strong collaborative instincts and ability to work well with others.
- Pragmatic problem-solver who can scope work appropriately and move fast.
- Comfortable working across disciplines with strong communication skills.
- Strong Python skills, including production-grade code.
- Solid SQL skills for data exploration, feature engineering, and pipeline work.
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, LightGBM, PyTorch, or Spark ML).
- Expert-level proficiency in Databricks and/or Snowflake, with experience deploying and managing models in a cloud data platform.
- Version control proficiency (git) and familiarity with collaborative development workflows.
