About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping clubs well maintained and safe, ensuring all mechanical systems are working properly. This includes routine maintenance and repairs of basic plumbing, lighting, millwork, and door hardware to provide a positive experience for members and guests in a high-energy, health club environment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance and repairs on millwork, plumbing, lighting, pool systems, and laundry equipment.
  • Verifies temperatures, pressures, and chemistry meet state, local, and company requirements through logs and inspection systems.
  • Responds to and prioritizes repair requests, including immediate response to emergency repairs.
  • Records all repair and preventative maintenance activity accurately into Maintenance Tracking software.

Requirements

  • 3 to 4 years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend and lift more than 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Experience Level

  • 3 to 4 years

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED
