About the Role

The Research Analyst is responsible for research, data & analytics and reporting activities across the German market. This role supports the organic growth of German businesses through thought leadership and insight generation to help drive leads and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure real estate data collection and update existing databases to deliver regular market and economic updates.
  • Gather, analyze, and utilize local and regional market insights, including competitive, client, and industry data, to produce market thought leadership.
  • Support business development activities, including presenting market updates to clients.
  • Undertake independent market analyses for ad-hoc reports for clients.
  • Support marketing and communication activities in line with the company content strategy.
  • Contribute to C&W brand visibility through active participation in public events and social media.
  • Cooperate with C&W research teams in other countries and the wider EMEA team.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data collection, statistical analysis, and market research.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and assess market dynamics with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex data into clear reports, presentations, and visualizations.
  • Creative problem-solving and effective collaboration in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience in professional services or real estate sector.
  • Degree in Economics, Geography, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
