About the Role

Oversee the remote monitoring and control of wind, solar, and battery plants using state-of-the-art operations management software. Handle national and international service calls, address technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety and health standards. Focus on maintaining optimal operational conditions, analyzing malfunctions, and documenting plant life histories. Collaborate with an international team to drive high operational performance and implement quality standards and process improvements in the BayWa r.e. Control Center. This is a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities

Remote monitoring and control of the operating state of wind, solar, and battery plants using operations management software.
Answering national and international service calls, recording issues, monitoring compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, and finding appropriate solutions.
Ensuring optimal operational conditions of wind, solar, and battery plants, analyzing malfunctions, and carrying out error statistics.
Documenting plant life history in detail and maintaining the logbook.
Working closely with international colleagues to assure a high level of operational performance under highest safety standards of the BayWa r.e. Control Center.
Implementing and ensuring quality standards, work procedures, and improvement processes.

Requirements

Experience working in a Control Centre environment or with SCADA systems within power generation.
Knowledge of Wind Turbine safety rules and safe systems of work.
Fully IT literate.
Ability to work with multiple systems and processes.
Ability to remain calm and apply logical and structured thinking and actions in high-pressure situations.
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Fluency in German and English is required.
Additional language skills in French and Spanish are considered a strong asset.
