About the Role

As a Civil Engineer, you and your team will ensure the proper and safe maintenance of civil engineering structures in the subway facilities. You will conduct structural condition analyses, plan subsequent maintenance measures, and ensure the operational readiness of the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural condition analyses and plan subsequent maintenance measures.
• Ensure the operational readiness of the facilities.
• Develop technical execution descriptions for procurement.
• Review technical and technological aspects of planning documents and service specifications.
• Conduct tenders, evaluate bids for economic efficiency, and participate in contract awards.
• Lead working groups from various trades within the facility management.
• Oversee the overall execution of maintenance measures for civil engineering and track structures, including painting, carpentry, and masonry work in the subway facilities.
• Accept and hand over facilities to operations.
• Be prepared to take on shift work after successful onboarding.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience.
• Fluent German language skills (C1 level).
• Readiness and interest to familiarize yourself with relevant laws and technical regulations (e.g., HOAI, VOB, BOStrab, DGUV).
• Responsible and conscientious work ethic, team-oriented thinking and action.
• Strong judgment and organizational skills.

Skills

• Experience with framework agreements and public tenders.
• Initial experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with HOAI, VOB, BOStrab, DGUV.
