Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, procedures, and EHS guidelines.
  • Complete work according to schedules and site policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment problems, including PAT testing and electrical RAMS reviews.
  • Complete all required site documentation and support KPI achievement.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in required training and audits.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical standards, regulations, and statutory requirements.

Requirements

  • Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems, motor control circuits, and VSD operation.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair, including motors, pumps, LEV systems, cooling towers, ancillary controls, and deionised water plants.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and electrical drawings.
  • Understanding of instrumentation, controls, SOPs, and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Proven experience working within documented Permit to Work Systems and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with a methodical and analytical approach.
  • Proactive attitude with good initiative and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Related mechanical experience is a distinct advantage.

Location

  • Mobile across London (mainly South London)

Work Type

  • 43 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rostered out-of-hours and emergency call-out arrangement

  • Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering

Salary/Compensations

  • Up to £45,000 per annum
