About the Role
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our thriving and collaborative emergency team, focusing on advanced medicine and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like jugular catheters, central lines or PICC lines
- Monitor and care for ventilator cases
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to patients
- Mentor and train fellow associates
- Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
- Perform other relevant roles/responsibilities
Requirements
- Must possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card

- $23.50 - $45.00 / hour
- Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends
- Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum
- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$3.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$3.50/hr. Shift Differential
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$5.00/hr. Shift Differential
