About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to join our hardware team. This role involves designing, building, and deploying robotic cells for finishing metal parts in real factories, with a significant impact on various industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and build components for grinding and finishing cells, including fixturing, end effectors, mounts, and guarding.
• Translate designs into physical hardware through CAD, fabrication, and assembly, including iterative improvements.
• Deploy and debug robotic cells at customer facilities, gaining hands-on experience with the manufacturing process.
• Develop ownership of complex mechanical challenges over time.

Requirements

• Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Strong CAD skills.
• Demonstrated experience in building physical hardware.
• Eagerness to learn robotic grinding and surface finishing.
• Comfort working in a factory floor environment.
