About the Role

The Retail Media Lead will own the commercial and delivery work for one of BLC's fastest-growing commercial priorities. You will help develop, release, and coordinate new advertising products and services for partners, focusing on partner experience and commercial opportunity. This role suits someone hungry to build, comfortable in the details, and capable of managing cross-functional delivery and partner conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Data to keep retail media initiatives on track.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, bringing the right people together to maintain momentum.
  • Build internal understanding and buy-in for retail media's role in BLC's commercial strategy.
  • Ensure media products and placements align with business objectives, consumer privacy standards, and brand experience requirements.
  • Support and address feedback and requirements from retail media partners, including campaign planning, product feedback, and revenue conversations.
  • Establish and share measurement frameworks with partners to demonstrate retail media effectiveness.
  • Support the development and positioning of online retail media products and data/audience monetization opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience with partner relationships and revenue within retail media, AdTech, or a related digital or marketplace business.
  • Genuine understanding of how retail media products are built.
  • Track record of meeting commercial partner needs and contributing to revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to lead external conversations with confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to keep cross-functional work on track across Product, Engineering, and Data teams without formal project management frameworks.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, able to bring structure and pace.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate commercial and technical detail clearly for various audiences.
  • Experience in a high-growth, scale-up, or early-stage environment is advantageous.
  • Background in a larger organization with active involvement in building or scaling a new retail media proposition is advantageous.
