About the Role
Provide facilities management services and technical advice across Coles state-of-the-art Automated Distribution Centre located in Kemps Creek, New South Wales. Report to the National Operations Manager and work closely with the Distribution Centre Manager to deliver safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all programs including reactive and preventative maintenance are executed promptly and meet quality requirements.
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the site, including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management.
- Manage annual facilities budget, identifying and prioritizing funds to support required services.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Implement and develop safety standards and procedures including conducting audits across the site.
- Adhere to all City Health and Safety (Think Safe) policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration or Technical stream – advantageous.
- Previous Facilities Management experience, ideally in a commercial supply chain environment.
- Experience with budget responsibility, including capital and operational budget management.
- Strong administration, planning and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Experience working closely with local and nationally based clients, contractors, technicians and team members.
- Current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Willing to travel interstate as required.
- The position requires the successful candidate to conduct a pre-employment medical, National police check and bankruptcy check.
