About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the clinical and care workforce to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care aligned to the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AN-ACC requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical governance, workforce capability, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical care delivery ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory obligations
- Oversee care planning, admissions reviews, and changes in resident condition
- Monitor and analyse clinical indicators, incidents and risk trends
- Apply evidence-based practice to improve outcomes
- Build relationships with GPs, hospitals and allied health providers
- Ensure adherence to Aged Care Act 2024 requirements and reporting obligations
- Drive continuous improvement, audit readiness, and clinical excellence
- Lead compliance with incident management and accreditation standards
- Foster a values-led, high-performing culture
- Oversee education, onboarding and competency development
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (minimum 3 years)
- Demonstrated experience leading clinical teams in residential aged care
- An excellent understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC
- Ability to lead change, manage risk, and improve outcomes
- A visible, values-led leader who is a natural mentor with a passion for building high-performing teams
