About the Role

Radical Numerics is seeking a Marketing Associate to build and scale its marketing function. As the first dedicated marketing hire, you will own the execution of marketing and communications initiatives, translating complex technical work into clear, compelling stories for customers, partners, and the scientific community. You will drive projects from concept to execution, including website, technical videos, product content, educational explainers, conference materials, and digital campaigns. This role involves coordinating cross-functional efforts, working with researchers and engineers, and managing external agencies.

Responsibilities

Drive execution of major marketing projects, e.g., website design, company videos.
Source, brief, and manage specialized vendors and freelancers for external work.
Coordinate with production vendors, managing the process, timeline, and vendor relationship.
Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Coordinate video projects, pairing internal researchers/engineers with outside vendors.
Partner with the technical team to shape and publish technical and research-adjacent content.
Own execution of Radical Numerics' social and web presence with a consistent voice.
Support demand generation across email, content, and events.
Plan and execute Radical Numerics' presence at scientific conferences, industry events, and government forums.
Manage event timelines, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Use marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to streamline workflows and measure performance.
Build and improve scalable marketing operations processes for efficient campaign execution and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Comfortable sourcing, briefing, and managing external vendors and freelancers.
Strong project management instincts; ability to keep multiple moving pieces on track with minimal oversight.
Comfortable working alongside technical and scientific teams; ability to shape and shepherd technical content.
High ownership, low ego, comfortable wearing many hats and figuring things out.
High ownership, low ego, and a bias toward action in ambiguous environments.
Genuinely curious about biological AI, biosecurity, or the life sciences.
2+ years in marketing, communications, or a related role, ideally at a startup or fast-moving company.
