About the Role
This individual leads the team to improve engineering efficiency, product quality, and responsibility of the overseeing of innovative CPU design efforts that have a critical impact on industries across the world. Interfaces with all disciplines to design, verify, and implement multi-core Computer Processing Unit (CPU) operations for QCT. Applies CPU architectural, micro-architecture, and physical design concepts to deliver high performance and low power CPUs. Evaluates all aspects of the design process from concept to productization that meet customer and industry standards. Evaluates power consumption at CPU level and helps optimize for all low-power and high-performance CPU applications of QCT. Develops reference models for verifying architectural intent against design features. Analyzes issues arising due to several clock domain crossings and ensures design to meet timing requirements of high-performance CPU. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.
