About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will serve food and beverages, clean kitchen and dining areas, operate POS systems, assist with food preparation, ensure timely meal delivery, and cater to dietary requirements while adhering to food safety programs. Be part of a compassionate team that supports the wellbeing of aged care residents through quality service, teamwork, and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages
  • Clean kitchen/dining/café areas and equipment
  • Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable)
  • Assist with food preparation and reheating meals
  • Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time
  • Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program

Requirements

  • Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience
  • Understanding of and alignment with our values
