About the Role
As a member of the IR team, you will be responsible for investor relations activities, including organizing earnings presentations, managing investor meetings, planning and executing investor events, and preparing external reports. This role offers the opportunity to understand the Otsuka Group's value chain and gain broad knowledge across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and NCD-related businesses, as well as accounting and finance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Organize earnings presentations for institutional investors and analysts, including creating presentation materials.
- Conduct meetings with domestic and international institutional investors, discussing business strategy and performance progress.
- Plan and manage investor-focused events such as Otsuka Group facility tours and business presentations.
- Prepare external materials, including integrated reports.
- Provide feedback on investor opinions to management.
- Provide consecutive interpretation during IR meetings with overseas investors and at investment conferences organized by domestic securities companies.
- Provide consecutive interpretation during overseas investor visits (several overseas business trips per year).
- Check English translations of quarterly earnings announcement materials.
- Record English translations of Japanese scripts during earnings announcements.
- Check English translations of Q&A sections during earnings announcements.
- Check English translations of IR slides used during investor meetings.
- Support English translation of materials and simultaneous interpretation during events and presentations for investors and analysts.
Requirements
- Practical experience in consecutive interpretation and translation.
