About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering impactful product initiatives. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding product development from conception to launch, ensuring our solutions meet market needs and drive user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that have significant strategic impact on the company and product portfolio.
- Inspire and motivate teams with a clear and compelling product vision.
- Develop and execute strategies to position the product effectively in the market, ensuring competitive differentiation.
- Align multiple teams and departments towards achieving strategic goals, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Design and implement scalable solutions to complex product challenges, ensuring long-term success.
- Leverage advanced analytics to drive strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Guide and mentor junior product managers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Anticipate potential issues and implement solutions proactively to mitigate risks.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Advanced proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!).
- Strong understanding of market research and competitive analysis.
- Strong technical aptitude – Comfortable working with technical systems, reading API documentation, understanding data models, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- API fluency – Confident using and troubleshooting REST APIs, interpreting payloads, and understanding how systems integrate.
- Enjoys getting into the details – Naturally curious and willing to dive deep into complex payroll, award interpretation, and edge-case scenarios to find the right solution.
- Analytical problem solver – Able to break down ambiguous compliance or product problems into clear, actionable requirements.
- Product mindset – Balances technical depth with customer outcomes, helping translate compliance complexity into scalable product capabilities.
- Payroll and compliance knowledge (preferred) – Experience with payroll systems, employment legislation, awards/EBAs, or pay compliance is highly desirable, but can be learned by someone with strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ownership and curiosity – Takes initiative, asks good questions, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve.
