About the Role
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Reinsurance Solutions business. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact through client advisory, strategic growth, and enhancement of Aon’s expertise and product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Leads regular client calls and meetings to discuss portfolio performance, treaty renewals, new products, financials, and ad-hoc requests.
- Leads renewal strategy, reviewing actuarial and catastrophe modeling outputs, deciding on suitable reinsurance structures, and selecting reinsurers to approach.
- Works closely with and mentors supporting brokers in preparing client deliverables.
- Actively participates in negotiations with reinsurers, deciding which reinsurers to approach and with what messaging, and coordinating Q&A from both reinsurers and clients.
- Works in collaboration with broking teams across solution lines to focus efforts on new business development and building client/prospect relationships aligned with business targets.
- Maintains thorough understanding and knowledge of all available Aon resources and solutions, matching them to client business requirements.
- Achieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
- Fosters and promotes a team approach to internal and external business relationships.
- Conducts relevant business discussions independently at the most senior level (CEO/CFO).
- Adheres to Aon processes and procedures and all quality service requirements to deliver exceptional client value.
- Recognized as a company leader, committed to continuous improvement and client revenue generation and value creation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at a most senior level.
- Strong market presence within the broking industry.
- Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfaction.
- Excellent organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and manage projects and direct reports.
- Ability to drive team(s) to deliver the highest in client service, quality and results.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound business decisions.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter; committed to delivering the highest in client service, quality and results.

- Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications.
