About the Role
As Key Account Manager – Wrap Platforms, North, you will play an important role in expanding the reach and success of AMP’s North platform across the advised market. You’ll build deep and commercially valuable relationships with key licensees, adviser groups and internal partners, understanding their business priorities and working with the broader Wealth Distribution team to deliver growth, service excellence and strong client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic account plans and relationship maps for key licensee and adviser relationships.
- Build a deep understanding of each account’s value drivers, priorities, growth strategy and opportunities.
- Identify and progress opportunities to grow cashflow, platform engagement and account outcomes.
- Partner with Wealth Distribution, Marketing, Product and other internal teams to deliver sales campaigns, education activity, events and adviser engagement initiatives.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to regular sales reviews, insights and account planning discussions.
- Act as a point of escalation for key account issues, helping resolve matters in a way that supports advisers, clients and AMP.
- Monitor market, competitor and product activity to help position AMP’s platform proposition effectively.
- Support compliant, high-quality outcomes by proactively managing risk, compliance and stakeholder expectations.
- Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing insights, collaborating across AMP and helping create a consistent, high-quality adviser experience.
Requirements
- Experience in financial services, ideally within wealth management, platforms, licensee services, distribution, sales or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the financial advice market, including licensee and adviser needs.
- Knowledge of wrap platforms, investment products, superannuation, retirement, managed investments and the broader wealth management landscape.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, advisers, licensees and internal teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience using data, insights and account planning to identify opportunities and deliver outcomes.
- Confidence managing sales activity, campaigns, pipelines, reporting and strategic account plans.
- Strong written, verbal, virtual and face-to-face communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex or matrix environment, balancing client needs, commercial priorities and risk considerations.
- RG146 compliance is required.
- A proactive, self-directed style with the ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
