About the Role

Accor is seeking a Full-time Chef De Partie to join the Sydney Domestic Lounges team, providing efficient, friendly, and professional service to lounge guests in al la carte and buffet environments. The role focuses on exciting guests with flair and enthusiasm, demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef in food preparation, ordering, and team development to exacting Lounge standards.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, with stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
• Work with and co-ordinate the work of apprentices in food preparation and production.
• Take responsibility for your designated area and anticipate guests' needs.
• Prepare and present all menu items for buffet, a la carte, and tray service with flair, meeting Lounge standards and budget controls.
• Ensure food safety standards are met in all stages of the food cycle: delivery, storage, preparation, cookery, service, and rotation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Confident and outgoing personality.
• Appropriate knowledge of food safety standards.
• Exceptional personal presentation standards.
• Appreciation and understanding of wine and food with solid experience.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check (reimbursed upon approval) for ASIC certification.
