About the Role

As Operations Manager, Stores, you are responsible for managing all Operations related aspects of a specific Sephora store location, including direct management of all members of the Operations team. You will regularly support in areas such as staffing of the operations, overnight stock team, operations leadership team and the overall execution of Sephora operations standards within the store.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations of the store and ensure execution of all operations focused processes per company standard.
  • Manage store inventory, including shipping, receiving, returning merchandise, and cycle counting within company guidelines.
  • Oversee merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Manage cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching, and escalation as necessary.
  • Manage the process of maintaining appropriate budget and quantity of supplies, testers, and samples.
  • Participate in performance management for the operations team, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
  • Develop budget strategies by demonstrating a strong understanding of sales performance, staffing, payroll, and other controllable expenses.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of experience in a similar role at a similar volume store or equivalent internal experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence business partners at all levels clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to create teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop staff to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service.
  • Work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
