About the Role
As a Relief Care Manager, you will be an experienced clinician supporting the General Manager of assigned homes on a short or longer-term basis. You will lead the care team to deliver excellence in care to residents across various Opal HealthCare communities in Western NSW.
Responsibilities
- Travel and provide clinical support and expertise to care communities in West NSW.
- Lead the team and deliver excellence in care to residents.
- Support the General Manager and clinical teams at the assigned care community.
- Promote continuous clinical improvement.
- Actively monitor the ongoing successful delivery of the Aged Care Standards.
- Build meaningful relationships with the team, residents, and their families.
- Develop and mentor a team of clinicians and contribute to positive team culture.
Requirements
- Experience in a Leadership or Management role in aged care or other health sectors is desired.
- Fully flexible to travel to support organizational requirements.
- RN AHPRA registration.
- Knowledge of aged care industry, regulations, and funding (AACQA; ACFI).
- The ability to promote continuous clinical improvement.
