About the Role
Join Crimson Global Academy (CGA) as a part-time Journalism teacher to deliver high-quality, personalized learning experiences to motivated students worldwide. This role offers flexibility and the chance to transform future generations' lives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Journalism, tailored to diverse international students.
- Utilize various teaching strategies and digital tools for an interactive online classroom.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching for optimal learning outcomes.
- Plan and communicate clear course schedules, including lesson content and assessment timelines.
- Lead professional, interactive live sessions using CGA’s online learning resources.
- Assign meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams.
- Manage the online classroom on Canvas, ensuring organization for student access.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education.
- Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and associated external examinations.
