About the Role

The IT Product Manager is responsible for a portfolio of applications, ensuring functionality and updates conform to requirements. This role ensures day-to-day maintenance, including incident management, enhancements, and service requests, in accordance with defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external offshore product support resources for assigned application portfolios to ensure timely and accurate resolution of incidents, service requests, and enhancements.
  • Ensure the secure and stable operation of the product in production, including managing product costs.
  • Oversee the stable run of the product, aligning run, support, incident, and monitoring processes with business needs, and managing solutions for critical situations.
  • Continuously monitor incident volume and other KPIs to ensure stable service provisioning, implementing necessary improvement measures.
  • Conduct compliance-related recertification procedures and verify product security.
  • Support product relationship management in collaboration with the Business Product Owner.
  • Plan and align the product roadmap with business requirements, target architecture, and technical/security refactoring.
  • Oversee implementation projects or maintenance release implementations, ensuring compliant production releases.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including functional and IT upgrades.
  • Ensure applications and products function according to requirements and mitigate escalations.
  • Facilitate escalations by ensuring all issues are addressed appropriately and timely.
  • Ensure appropriate governance of process and control frameworks for all applications.
  • Ensure all application documentation and BAFin (and other) audit requirements are in place and regularly updated.

Requirements

  • Possess experience in managing technology vendors.
  • Ability to think globally and in a networked manner.
  • Talent in quickly capturing information and structuring/orchestrating topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box with an innovative mindset.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT product management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with key technologies such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Oracle, SQL, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent command of Business English.
