About the Role

We are currently looking for a Claims Bordereaux Analyst to work with us on a full-time basis in London, reporting into the Claims Delegated Authority Manager. You will take a proactive approach to the management of delegated claims and look to uphold a quality claims service, taking into account applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, pursue, review, and load claims bordereaux.
  • Report on claims bordereaux data and metrics.
  • Review data quality and drive improvement.
  • Liaise with the outsourced bordereaux function.
  • Identify, report, and resolve Delegated Authority breaches.
  • Assist the Claims Delegated Authority Manager with the Claims Delegated Authorities function.
  • Assist with Conduct Risk related activities.
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers/policyholders.
  • Understand all appropriate lines of escalation and the responsibilities of the Product Conduct Risk Strategy Group (PCRSG), Underwriting & Risk Committee (URC), ExCo, and Board for Conduct Risk.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of bordereaux processing tools.
  • Good knowledge of Lloyd’s Standard Claims Reporting bordereaux (version 5.2).
  • Knowledge of market strategies.
  • Awareness of firm-specific procedures related to own role.
  • Demonstrate growing understanding of colleagues' roles and their relationships to the firm's structure and business plans.
  • Willingness to continue developing knowledge of policies, underwriting, and related issues through formal and informal learning.
  • Awareness of potential business risks within own job role and the controls in place to mitigate them.
  • Report all significant changes in risks or control effectiveness to your line manager in a timely manner.
