About the Role

The Chatswood Hills Tavern is seeking a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager to lead operations in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality venue. This role requires a leader who can maintain high standards and deliver excellent service across all areas of the pub.

Responsibilities

• Support the Publican to ensure smooth, safe, and positive operations.
• Lead a team of hospitality professionals.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Provide energetic and friendly service during every shift.

Requirements

• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room operations, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Confidence, pride, and strong people skills.
• Possession of a current RSA/RSG/RMLV/Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.
• Willingness to learn and lead.
• Candidates will be required to complete Employee Due Diligence checks, which may include a National Police Check.
