About the Role

The Cash Management Operation Vice President is a manager-level position responsible for Cash and Liquidity management. The core objective of this role is monitoring/management of balance/intraday liquidity/cashflow, Cash and JGB settlement process, and post settlement investigation. Citi’s Operations and Technology (O&T) enables Citi to achieve its day-to-day operational and long-term growth goals, enabling execution of Citi’s strategy by providing services, technical solutions and infrastructure across the bank.

Responsibilities

Proceed daily operational task for balance and intraday liquidity management to support funding activity by Market Treasury.
Resolve complex process problems which require an in-depth evaluation of Cash and Liquidity management procedures and industry standards.
Offer advanced solutions for assigned Cash and Liquidity management areas.
Serve as analytical or procedural expert for Cash and Liquidity management deliverables/initiatives.
Assist with the development of new techniques / systems and streamlining Cash and Liquidity management activities for more electronic and systematic transaction processing.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements

3-5 years of Banking/Broker Dealer Experience
Cash and Liquidity management and or Settlement Operation Experience is preferable
Japanese - Native level
English - Business level (Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.)
