About the Role
This role is crucial in shaping Nine’s overall digital advertising offering by supporting the creation of profitable, compelling ad solutions across Nine’s premium digital portfolio to directly drive revenue. You will act as the bridge between technical product capabilities and commercial sales success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and delivering commercial go-to-market strategies to maximise revenue across Nine’s digital ad suite.
- Identify opportunities for inventory optimisation and enhance product capabilities like interactivity and advanced reporting.
- Collaborate across Sales, Operations, and Product teams to help design, define, and roll out new ad products, including establishing workflows, commercial rules, and internal training.
- Create compelling go-to-market collateral, sales stories, and packaging.
- Act as the day-to-day expert and point person for Sales inquiries.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, emerging trends, and competitor offerings to provide actionable insights that shape our future product roadmap.
- Assist in facilitating external discovery workshops with agencies and clients to inform our product roadmap.
- Help manage relationships with leading ad tech vendors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a commercial, ad operations, or sales enablement role within digital media.
- Solid understanding of the publishing and/or video (BVOD) advertising markets.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ad products into compelling commercial sales stories.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of digital metrics (yield, viewability, impressions).
- A sharp commercial mindset, a passion for digital advertising, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Must already have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.
