  • Drive process automation and AI-enabled operational improvements across the Group Tax function.
  • Contribute to processing documentation, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare supporting materials, briefings, and communications under senior guidance for Audit Committee, Board, and external advisor engagements.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of Australian tax principles and financial accounting fundamentals.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical capability, with high attention to detail and the ability to handle, reconcile, and assure the integrity of large, multi-source data sets in a structured compliance environment.
  • Experience with financial and accounting tax technology tools, such as CCH Tax Integrator, Thomson Reuters OneSource, or similar platforms (including Power BI for data visualisation and analysis).
  • Demonstrated experience with, or strong openness to embracing, AI technologies to support data analysis, automation, research, and process efficiency.
  • Exposure to corporate tax or financial services environments would be well regarded.
  • Qualifications in STEM disciplines, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or Data Science would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional data discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to build and maintain robust reconciliations and audit trails.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax compliance processes and ATO Justified Trust expectations.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes in a structured and regulated environment.
  • Excellent English language communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to produce accurate, professional work and interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, accountable, and curious nature.
