About the Role
Seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Holiday Lighting Installation Technician to install, maintain, and remove holiday lighting and decorations for residential and commercial properties. This role requires a passion for creating beautiful and safe holiday displays, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install holiday lighting and decorations on roofs, trees, shrubs, and other structures.
- Safely use ladders, lifts, and other equipment to reach high places.
- Ensure all electrical connections are safe and meet industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Remove and properly store holiday lighting and decorations at the end of the season.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in lighting installation, electrical work, or related field preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during the holiday season.
