About the Role

Rooftop Cinema Club is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter for its Peckham venue. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting and are committed to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Receive, unpack, and organise food and beverage deliveries.
• Dispose of waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards are followed.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous kitchen porter experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
