About the Role
This role is key to building and scaling BCG's Global Workforce Strategy Center of Excellence, translating workforce strategy into practical capabilities and governance structures for consistent, enterprise-wide decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of workforce planning methodologies, frameworks, and governance processes across OneBCG.
- Drive operational execution of strategic workforce planning activities, partnering across businesses, functions, and talent cohorts.
- Establish standards, definitions, and planning approaches that enable consistent workforce planning and reporting across the enterprise.
- Partner with People Analytics and workforce stakeholders to translate workforce data into actionable insights, recommendations, and decision-support materials.
- Oversee workforce planning deliverables, ensuring analytical rigor, consistency, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Support the development and implementation of BCG's workforce skills strategy, including skills visibility, skills analysis, and workforce capability planning.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives focused on workforce planning, workforce transformation, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with Finance, People teams, and business leaders to integrate workforce planning insights into annual planning and investment decisions.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in workforce strategy, talent strategy, people analytics, HR strategy, or related People functions.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning methodologies, talent strategies, and organizational workforce dynamics.
- Experience working within professional services or project-based organizations where talent deployment is central to business performance.
- Ability to synthesize workforce data and trends into practical insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex and evolving workforce challenges.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across functions, teams, and geographies.
- Understanding of BCG's business model, Consulting Team strategy, and talent priorities, or the ability to quickly develop comparable domain expertise.
