About the Role

Neara uses advanced machine learning to create digital twins of electricity grids, simulating extreme weather and stress to help utilities optimize investments and build a more resilient energy future. We are seeking a leader to own enterprise accounts, navigate technical work streams, and lead a team of technical contributors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a living account strategy, defining objectives and ensuring team alignment.
  • Focus on realizing actual business value for the customer, ensuring they are materially better off.
  • Mentor and challenge technical individual contributors, unblocking workflows and coaching them through customer interactions.
  • Navigate internal politics of enterprise environments, mapping influence and building relationships to drive consensus.
  • Exercise decisive judgment, knowing when to escalate and when to handle issues independently, acting calmly and decisively under pressure.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully navigating high-pressure, complex implementations.
  • Technical credibility, with experience leading teams of strong technical individual contributors.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, able to structure ambiguous challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to master new industries or domains at an accelerated pace.
  • Radical independence; a self-starter who prioritizes alignment over permission and thrives in autonomous environments.
