About the Role

Responsibilities
- Food preparation and cooking
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
- Provide friendly customer service
- Execute function work and large volume cooking
- Perform stocktake and control
- Ensure HACCP compliance, food safety procedures, and OH&S regulations
- Perform general kitchen and cleaning duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
- Understanding of Café style food is advantageous
- Highly organised and energetic hands-on leader
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance
- Experience in function work and large volume kitchen is preferable
- Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
- Willing to work mornings and evenings
