About the Role

The client service team you will be joining is a part of State Street Client Coverage Department. The client service gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate. Our products help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to medium sized clients and support Vice Presidents and Managing Directors with larger/more complex relationships within business unit and onboarding new clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and long-term relationships of assigned clients.
  • Manage a team or teams.
  • Focus on strategic aspects of maintaining and growing long-term relationships.
  • Visit clients regularly for service review meetings.
  • Ensure superior client satisfaction by acting as an advocate and resolving client issues.
  • Proactively identify client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients, facilitating communication between operations and other business units.
  • Keep management informed of new developments, service issues, and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare internal risk and compliance profiles.
  • Respond to inquiries from client auditors.
  • Periodically review client invoices for accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in client management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some experience with presentations.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
