About the Role

Support future occupational therapists through teaching, research, and industry engagement in a growing health discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to teaching, curriculum design and delivery across occupational therapy and related disciplines.
  • Coordinate subjects, deliver lectures and tutorials, and support student learning through assessment and feedback.
  • Engage in research and scholarship activities, contributing to publications and research grant applications.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues across the School, Faculty and University.
  • Build partnerships with industry and professional stakeholders.
  • Participate in academic administration.
  • Contribute to discipline initiatives.
  • Support students to achieve their academic goals.

Requirements

  • PhD in Occupational Therapy or a related field, or near completion.
  • Recognised occupational therapy qualification.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching and student engagement.
  • Evidence of research activity, including publications or scholarship outputs.
  • Experience developing professional and academic partnerships.
  • Experience supervising research students and contributing to grant applications.
  • Must provide evidence of full-time working rights in Australia at application.

Salary/Compensations

  • $123,327 – $145,625 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading
